We had a nice time visiting the Capitol and exploring the natural history museum. We've gone a couple of times before, but this time they had a new section that highlights a lot of research that is currently being done. We were able to watch scientists in their labs and see some cool exhibits about meteors (including a piece from the really big one that recently fell in Russia), evolution, and some genetically modified fish (they put coral DNA into their DNA sequence to make them glow in different colors).
